SCALING UP RESEARCH ETHICS & RESEARCH INTEGRITY
This course is designed to train participants in the principles and practice of responsible conduct of research (RCR) and it meets the current NIH requirement for a medium-term RCR training.
Description
The training will help participants to understand the latest concepts in RCR including research integrity, falsification, fabrication, and plagiarism. The course will provide participants with resource materials and knowledge of core RCR topics. Upon completion of the course, participants would have complied with the NIH requirement for at least 8 hours of face-to-face training in RCR.
Modality
This is a 3-month blended program in RCR with:

Online CITI Responsible Conduct of Research and Conflict of Interest courses hosted on the Center for Bioethics and Research (CBR) website.
- In-Person component consisting of lectures and mentoring meetings with faculty who would lead discussions on case studies to examine RCR issues and how to resolve them.
